Pediatric Dentistry

Pediatric Dentistry is a discipline of dentistry that prevents and cures the pathologies of the mouth and teeth of children in developmental age, from 2 to 16 years.

The focus is mainly on the prevention and treatment of the caries lesions, even though they are part of the Pediatric Dentistry also the applications of fluorine, sealing of grooves, identification of imbalances in the dental occlusion and maxillary morphology.

Essential for the maintenance of the health of the children’s mouths is also the education to oral hygiene. At the base of pediatric dentistry there is anyway the search for the collaboration of the young patients.
