Par rapport aux proth\u00e8ses fixes, l\u2019implant donne le m\u00eame r\u00e9sultat sans sacrifier les autres dents pour cr\u00e9er un pont. Par rapport \u00e0 la proth\u00e8se amovible, surtout si totale, l'avantage est plus grand car le patient n'a pas la sensation d'un corps \u00e9tranger dans la bouche avec des probl\u00e8mes, m\u00eame de nature psychologique.<\/p><p>L'implant est une racine dentaire artificielle qui remplace celle perdue sur laquelle est appliqu\u00e9e une proth\u00e8se fixe. Cette technique peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour remplacer plusieurs dents.<\/p><p>L'implantologie moderne repose sur le principe de l'ost\u00e9oint\u00e9gration, c'est-\u00e0-dire l'utilisation d'un mat\u00e9riau biocompatible, le titane, que l'organisme reconna\u00eet comme sien et int\u00e8gre parfaitement.<\/p><p>Cette int\u00e9gration osseuse est optimale et durable. Il existe de nombreux types d'implants, de formes et de tailles les plus vari\u00e9es, le dentiste recommandera le mod\u00e8le et la taille les plus adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 chaque cas individuel, car ils sont \u00e9troitement li\u00e9s aux caract\u00e9ristiques individuelles du patient, au site o\u00f9 l'intervention doit \u00eatre effectu\u00e9e. \u00catre effectu\u00e9e, le type d'os pour une structure particuli\u00e8re et des conditions anatomiques.<\/p><p>Il convient toutefois de noter qu\u2019il existe des conditions dans lesquelles il n\u2019est pas pratique, voire impossible, de recourir \u00e0 l\u2019implantologie.
